On our last full day in Araku, we got to travel around to some neighboring villages to learn more about the Bagata people. We found some villages where Bagata people live and some where there are very few Bagata people. In each village, we were greeted in different ways.
The first village we passed through had a great deal of Hindu influence, here is a shrine just outside of the village.
We enjoyed the scenery along the way...
Homes along the street of one of the villages...
We brought along temporary tattoos and enjoyed sharing them with the children in the villages. It was a good time of sharing with them, in this picture the children were singing to us as we gave them tattoos.
